The Hallmark Channel is releasing three new movies for Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is almost upon us. Whether you’re coupled up or are going solo this holiday season, it can be stressful trying to figure out how to celebrate. You could always battle the crowds and go out for a romantic dinner with your other half. You could go full-blown Galentine’s Day and have a fun night out with your friends. But then again, doesn’t a night in on the couch sound a lot easier, and maybe even more enjoyable?
No, I’m not suggesting you queue up old episodes of “Friends” on Netflix for the umpteenth time. Instead, the Hallmark Channel has you covered all “season” long. Beginning Feb. 3, the network will air romantic comedies every weekend until Valentine’s Day.
Appropriately dubbed “Countdown to Valentine’s Day,” three brand-new movies will be a part of this love-themed lineup. And I’m so excited! While some may say that Hallmark movies are total cheese-fests (and I don’t disagree), isn’t that part of their appeal?
Hallmark Christmas movies always make the season merry and bright, and it sounds like the new additions on tap for Valentine’s Day will definitely satisfy my craving for something sweet. Here’s a quick look at what Hallmark has in store for us:
My Secret Valentine
Premieres: Feb. 3 at 9 p.m./8 p.m. Central
Starring Lacey Chabert and Andrew Walker, “My Secret Valentine” follows a smooth-talking salesman who shows up at a young woman’s family’s winery to try and buy it.
Very, Very Valentine
Premieres: Feb. 10 at 9 p.m./8 p.m. Central
Starring Danica McKellar, Cameron Mathison and Damon Runyan, “Very, Very Valentine” is about a love triangle that ensues after a woman meets her dream man at a Valentine’s Masquerade Ball.
Cooking With Love
Premieres: Feb. 11 at 9/8 p.m. Central
Opposites attract when a TV producer and chef are put on a cooking show together. It stars Ali Liebert and Brett Dalton.
