Britney Spears’ sons pull a funny prank on their mom (video)

We’ve all been frightened by someone sneaking up on us, but when you’re Britney Spears (and the prank makes its way to social media), it ends up in front of more than 2 million pairs of eyes all around the world. It’s hard to believe, but the “Hit Me Baby One More Time” singer’s sons are preteens now, and just like their mom, they aren’t shy.

Sean Federline, 11, and Jayden Federline, 10, took advantage of a quiet moment to shock Spears and, of course, document the joke for an Instagram post.

“So we just stole our mom’s phone, and this is take two of scaring her. Come on,” her son narrates as they walk into the kitchen where their pop diva mom is cooking.

Spears, of course, added a caption to the post warning her sons just what people say about payback being a you know what.

This isn’t the first time the Federline boys have pulled a prank on their famous mother. The brothers posted another successful scare on Instagram last September. The narration to that prank starts, “We’re about to scare the heck outta Mom!” Spears actually falls to the ground, and has some choice words for her sons in her Instagram caption, along with a crying-laughing emoji, of course. We imagine it may have taken some time to get to the laughing part after that fright!

Along with her sense of humor, Spears’ Instagram feed also shows off her dancing skills and toned body. This week, she posted a catwalk video, jokingly modeling a variety of dresses while the song “This Is What You Came For,” by Calvin Harris with Rihanna, plays. More than 3.6 million people have watched it so far, prompting Maxim to announce that Spears “Breaks Instagram.”
