This dog has already won Halloween with his Paddington Bear costume

It’s not even October and this adorable pup has already taken the title of Halloween champion. Bertram the pomeranian has long held a place as one of the most beloved dogs on Instagram. Now that he has picked his Halloween costume, he has gotten infinitely cuter just when you didn’t think it was possible.

Bertram dressed up as Paddington Bear, donning the blue jacket and red bucket hat, from the popular children’s storybook-turned-movie series . He was a dead-ringer for the adorable character — likely because Bertram was already a major bear cub lookalike.

His owner, Kathy Grayson, is constantly posting photos of him online to his personal audience of dedicated followers. He’s got over 190,000 followers on Instagram, and you’re about to see why.

This is what Bertram looks like normally:

So cancel the shipment on your Halloween costume, because what’s the point in trying anymore?

He and Paddington Bear really do share a striking resemblance, as you can see from this image from the film’s premiere in Germany:

They’re practically twins, aren’t they?

Even if you’re not feeling inspired to dress up for Halloween anymore (thanks, Bertram), that doesn’t mean you can’t dress up your dog to be just as adorable as this pomeranian.

In fact, you can find a similar Paddington Bear costume meant for dogs the sockmonkeyangel Etsy shop:

This tiny costume is available in extra small, small and medium sizes and sells for $22 each. It’s handmade and created from fleece, toggle buttons and jute rope. Since it takes only three to five days to ship, an order should arrive with plenty of time to spare before Halloween! It will have your puppy looking even more fluffy, squeeze-able and teddy bear-like in no time.
