What to drink with your favorite Girl Scout cookies

I think we can all agree that there’s one season each year that is far superior to any other: Girl Scout Cookie season.

While a lot may have changed since we sold GSCs as kids (these days you can buy them online, and they’re now found in everything from ice cream to cereal), the excitement of receiving a cookie delivery has not.

Though some people opt to drink milk with their Girl Scout Cookies, an alcohol and snack delivery service called Saucey came up with the best alcohol to pair with your favorite Girl Scout Cookie. Sound delicious? We think so, too.

Check out the company’s recommendations for drink-and-cookie pairings:

“We all have cheat days,” Chris Vaughn, CEO & Co-Founder of Saucey, tells Simplemost. “We like to make ours count. If you haven’t tried Girl Scout Cookies with alcohol pairings, you are severely missing out.”

The Saucey Team says their top three choices are:

1. S’mores + Bulleit Bourbon + Henry Weinhards Vanilla Cream Soda (“a classic”)

2. Lemonades + Tito’s Handmade Vodka + Lorina Sparkling Lemonade (“Lemon with Tito’s? Duh.”)

3. Savannah Smiles + Patron Silver Tequila + Citra Agave Lemon/Lime Margarita Mixer (“Because life is good.”)

If you’re reading this and wondering why the infographic has Caramel DeLites listed as Samoas and Peanut Butter Patties listed as Tagalongs, you’re not alone. Turns out the Girl Scouts use two different bakeries to make their cookies, and similar cookies coming from different factories have different names (and the cookies also have slight differences).

As for us, we’re still trying to decide what our top three choices are—they all sound so good! So “cheers!” from us to you as you try some of the above drink-and-cookie combos, too.
