Pizza Hut To Award Free Pizza For a Year to Parents of First Baby Born After Kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday

Giving birth to a new little one is cause for celebration no matter when it takes place, but Pizza Hut is making the occasion even sweeter for one special family whose baby arrives during this year’s Super Bowl LIII.

According to a press release, those who give birth to a baby during the Super Bowl will be eligible to win free pizza for an entire year and tickets to the 2020 Super Bowl — so next year’s game day will be almost as special as the day your child was born!

The free pizza and 2020 Super Bowl tickets will be awarded to the parents of the first baby born after kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday.

“If there’s one thing we’re more passionate about than pizza and football, it’s the family we get to enjoy it with,” Marianne Radley, chief brand officer of Pizza Hut, said in the press release. “Family celebrations and Pizza Hut have gone hand in hand for more than 60 years, so in our first year as the Official Pizza Sponsor at Super Bowl LIII, we wanted to show up for our fans who are in the unique position of expanding their family during the biggest NFL game of the year.”

The Pizza Hut Twitter account announced the news of this extra-special delivery for expectant parents:

If you happen to have a child during the game on Feb. 3, all you have to do is post a photo of your bundle of joy on Twitter with the exact time of birth. Tag @PizzaHut and use the hashtags #PizzaHutSpecialDelivery and #promotion to be considered for a year’s worth of free pizza.

As if that wasn’t special enough, Pizza Hut will also be making free pizza deliveries to families delivering babies in hospitals in the Boston and Los Angeles areas on Super Bowl Sunday. As a mother of four, Radley was pleased to offer this promo noting that she “would’ve jumped at the idea of free, post-delivery pizza at the hospital!”
